Seniors can benefit from increase hands on activities
Senior living facilities, nursing homes and community centers staff can benefit from gaining skills sets to provide practical and engaging activities for their clients. From providing social activities, cognitive training, upper body endurance and dexterity training to assist patients to be as independent as possible with Activities of daily living (ADLS) dressing, toileting, showering and functional ambulation. Provide caregivers training and support on ADL’s, safely transferring patient from supine to sit at edge of bed, edge of bed to wheel chair using slide boards, squat pivot or two person transfers.
